mixing metals well

Mixing metals is a decor no-no, right? WRONG!

Mixing metals used to be considered cluttered, mismatched and just plain ugly in days gone by. But NOW we see it everywhere and it LOOK AMAZING!!!

SOOO.... what's the secret to NOT looking like a hot mess with your metals?

TONES AND TEXTURES, that's it.

Seriously, just tones and textures?

Yes. That's it. Secret's OUT.

Go crazy with your metals as long as the underlying tones of THE REST of your space are following a consistent color palette!

This piece by ANGELA FINCH CUSTOM ARTWORK is a perfect example, have a neutral palette under your mixed metals? STICK WITH IT and let your metallic pieces shine.!

Maybe you prefer something a bit more feminine, BLUSH IT UP GIRL!

But keep it and your metallics grounded with some calmer neutrals.

This keeps everything tied up neatly while still adding personality to the space.

Our Client here complimented our Faux Finishing Silver and Warm Gold accents that pay well with the pink in her framed prints.

Worried it might be too much with your favorite color palette? Fear not, A bold man cave to the rescue!

This space marries it's metals beautifully with the help of our Faux Finishing and Design expertise - it even includes the owner's favorite Denim blue!

As you walk through, the silver faux (complimented here by the owner's custom lighting) gives way to a beautiful golden faux, touched with that favorite denim

Follow it through to the most amazing indoor golf experience and once again the design flows into a luxurious silver faux.

There you have it... metals can live in peace and harmony... as Faux Finishes, as Accessories, so long as you are correctly marrying the consistency of the underlying tones throughout a space!

(that's kind of our specialty)
